Flowers everywhere...I love the flower girl.....

The evening light was so good in this picture.

God paints with a beautiful brush, doesn't He?

These are Double Delights. There are over a dozen on the
three bushes, and I have already cut about a dozen and have
them in the house.....delightful!

To me, there is nothing more beautiful than a red rose. These
are called Mr. Lincoln. I counted over 2 dozen on the three
bushes. All they ask for is lots of water and something to keep
bugs and diseases off of them.

These red lillies came with the place. They were all wadded
up in one hole. Last year I dug them up, and put them in
several places in the yard, in groups of three. This was some
extras that I did not know what to do with. I have offered
them to my sister.

This is an Amaryllis. I had bought it discounted after Christmas
last year, and just stuck it in the ground. It is beautiful!

I have waited for spring since the middle of December, and it has not disappointed me. I am grateful for God's beauty.

Randy and I were married 27 years ago , April 23. It
remains the happiest day of my life. I think my

Spring....it finally got here!

Ahhh..........spring..........My favorite time of year. I love the
rebirth, especially after the dismal winter we had. Yes, spring
has sprung at 316 Bruce Hyatt Road. My legs, shoulders, and
arms are sore from the digging, hoeing, and hauling of potting
soil. I even got into fire ants pretty bad this time...over 50 bites
before I could get them off. It was worth it!

Planting flowers...................

and more flowers......................

Birds...I have seen blue birds, red birds, doves, starlings,
wrens, sparrows, mocking birds, blue jays...I fill the feeder
every day right now. Oh, yes, the hummingbirds are back
as well.

The darker azaleas are my favorite.

Randy has such good vision...the dogwood, the azalea, the
bridal wreath................so pretty!

The azaleas are worth the year long wait.

From bud..........................

To blossom...first one of the season.

Birthdays and Easter

My parent's birthdays are April 11th and 12th. My sister and I got the idea to give them a surprise party. We told them that all the kids would be in Easter weekend and that we were fixing shrimp at my house and that they had to come. We lured them up here. In reality, we had invited their siblings as well. They were surprised. It was a beautiful day full of family, food, and fun!

Moma and Daddy like to play the slot machines, so my sister
got them a casino themed cake. It was cute!

My brother, Randy, fried shrimp and fries. My hubby, Randy,
boiled shrimp, potatoes, and corn. My sister made shrimp
gumbo. It was a shrimp fest!

My niece, Tera...I told her I would post this picture on Facebook,
but decided to just put it on the blog.

Beautiful day to just kick back.

My mom said that the meal reminded her of dinners at her
aunt's house long ago.

It was good to have my parent's siblings at the party.

My favorite picture of the day.

Too much fun!

When my kids were little I use to always make them a bunny
cake for Easter. I could not wait to make Liam one this year.
I think he liked it!

Liam loves anything with wheels. Most of the time he has
a vehicle in his hands. I got him a bubble mower and I think
he must have mowed 20 acres. I forgot to take a picture of
the mowing...maybe next time!

I always miss Liam as soon as he leaves, but I look forward
to the next visit.
